Hello, Scottsdale!

Win a Labbot!

How would you use Labbot in your research? Make the most interesting proposal and receive a Labbot for free.

Want to discuss your propsal? Just come by our booth. We would love to have a chat.

The deadline of contest submissions is at Wednesday 2 July, 11 AM. The winner will be annoucned at on Wedneday afternoon.

How to Participate

Participating is free and easy. Tell us about your research project and how you would use Labbot.

Submit Your
Proposal

To submit, fill out an online form telling us a little about yourself, the project you would use Labbot for, and how you would utilise it.

Selection
Process

A scientific committee will choose the winner. The panel of distinguished experts will judge the entries based on their innovation and significance.

Winner
Announcement

The winner will be announced during the Award Ceremony on Wedneday afternoon.

Contents of the Submission Form

After answering some short questions about yourself and your affiliation, we would like you to describe the research conducted by your group and how a Labbot instrument could benefit that research.

Briefly Describe You and Your Research Group

We would love to hear about your main themes of research and the questions that your group is trying to answer.

Describe Your Current Research Focus

What are your main themes of research, and which questions are you trying to answer? Maximum 100 words

Tell Us How You would Utilise a Labbot Platform

Describe how you would integrate Labbot into your research. We are particularly interested in visionary yet practical use cases that demonstrate Labbot’s potential to unlock new insights or accelerate experimental workflows.

The Main Part: Mini Research Proposal

Please outline a brief proposal (max 250 words) describing how you would integrate Labbot into your research. We are particularly interested in visionary yet practical use cases that demonstrate Labbot’s potential to unlock new insights or accelerate experimental workflows.Your proposal should include:

Scientific context: What is the biological/chemical/physical system or problem you're studying?

Current bottlenecks: What experimental challenges or limitations are you currently facing?

Labbot integration: How would you incorporate Labbot into your workflow?

Impact: What outcomes or breakthroughs could Labbot enable that would otherwise be difficult or impossible?

The more clearly you can connect Labbot to novel insights or efficiency gains in your research, the stronger your submission will be.

Applications

What can you investigate with Labbot?

The list of featured applications is long and ever growing.
Here are some of the most used ones.
Application

Liquid-Liquid Phase Separation

Take full control of your condensates. Labbot can help you fine-tune solution conditions and map out phase behavior in unrivaled detail, giving you a better understanding of how droplets come and go.

Application

Protein Interactions

Take classical methods to new heights with automated measurements. Detect ligand binding or oligomerization with FRET or by tracking changes in intrinsic fluorescence.

Application

Amyloid Aggregation

Maximize the information obtained from each sample and untangle the complexities of fibril growth. By combining full spectrum readouts with light scattering and exercising complete control over sample conditions, you can easily set up your next amyloid experiment.

FAQ

If you can not find an answer to your question, come by our booth – or send us an email.

Who can participate in the contest?
